My approach
My approach is integrative and scientifically sound - I draw on methods from cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and systemic counseling. I pursue an integrative, needs-oriented approach that combines scientifically sound methods from various fields of modern psychology. Another focus is on teaching mindfulness and relaxation techniques. In doing so, I draw on insights and methods from, among others, cognitive behavioral therapy (e.g., recognizing and developing beneficial thought and action patterns), systemic counseling (e.g., understanding interactions in relationships and systems), and acceptance and commitment therapy (e.g., getting in touch with one's own values and remaining capable of action despite internal challenges). In addition, I utilize methods from solution-focused counseling, mindfulness-based exercises, and evidence-based relaxation techniques to address personal stressors holistically and strengthen self-efficacy.

Cognitive behavioral therapy
Recognizing and developing beneficial thought and behavior patterns. Together, we analyze stressful thought patterns and develop new, helpful perspectives. The goal is to gain more control over automated thoughts and behaviors and to be able to actively shape everyday life again.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT is about not fighting unpleasant thoughts and feelings, but rather embracing them—and still living a fulfilling life in harmony with your own values. What is truly important to you? This question is at the heart of our work together. Getting in touch with your own values and remaining empowered despite inner challenges
Systemic counseling
Understanding interactions in relationships and systems. This focuses on the social environment in which psychological stress can arise and be sustained—be it in family, partnership, or work. We examine interactions, relationship patterns, and recurring dynamics to develop new perspectives and options for action. Because sustainable change often arises not only from the individual, but also from interactions with others.
